What is a NBS Summit?

The National Brotherhood of Skiers Summit is the worlds largest annual ski convention, attracting more than a thousand of participants.  The NBS Summit, also called the Black Ski Summit, is a week long ski event held in premiere ski resorts that includes skiing, racing, happy hours, parties, an outdoor picnic and more.  On the even years (like 2018), the event is called  the Annual Meeting/Challenge Cup (AMCC), aka “The Mini Summit.” The 2021 NBS Black Ski/Mini-Summit will be held as a virtual event at a date to be announced soon!

How to register?

To register, you need to be a current member of an NBS club or pay a premium as a non- member.  Click here to join Steel on Ice and get the advantage of our local club activities and  the NBS discount.  Then, click here to register online.  Note, you are required to purchase a 3-day lift ticket with your registration.  Registration is non-refundable. How to get discounted lift tickets?

How to get the Summit?

If 10 or more participants are traveling to the Summit with the same itinerary, there may be a group airfare discount.  Otherwise, participants book their travel on their own.  Rental car and ground transportation discounts are shared with registered participants, when applicable.  See the Steel on Ice Summit flyer for more info.
