The STEEL ON ICE CHIPS, the youth program, is open to those 7 to 17 years of age. STEEL ON ICE places a special emphasis on youth. A series of lessons at a local ski areas is used to introduce youth members to the sport. More advanced youth members are encouraged to develop racing skills.

The membership fee is $10 per youth (April to September).  Late dues are $20.
